Meet Dave

Aroview: Passable sci-fi comedy starring Eddie Murphy as an alien captain / spaceship disguised as a man in order to hide the rest of his extraterrestrial pals and investigate the human race.

Not a ‘return to form’ for Murphy, but certainly no NORBIT either, the film works best when Murphy is at his most oddly robotic – one is reminded of his skills with impressions - unfortunately the broad comedy on display here does little else to evoke his glory days.
