Aroview: Slick remake of the 1967 musical replaces songs with tech wizardry and the comic mugging of Eddie Murphy as the medic who can 'talk to the animals'.
Story somewhat lets down the beautifully-crafted animatronic menagerie on display, with animals reduced to ciphers for cheap one-liners, but gimmick-crazy tots won't complain.
Sequel also available, with Eddie this time around giving an uncouth circus bear a makeover.
