Aroview: This vigorous martial arts actioner set in 1920s Vietnam is unusually committed to the finer details of political turmoil and period recreation, though does not skimp on the requisite bumps and bruises of aggressively choreographed combat. Rough and tumble set-pieces best show off the physical talents of the all-Vietnamese cast (including 21 JUMP STREET’s Dustin Nguyen!).
