Aroview: In 1949, crazed hick Dennis Hopper manifests his full-blooded rascism when he murders the young sister of a negro who has renegged on his car payments. Nasty but compelling melodrama.

4 stars (Very Good) Incredible performamce by the late Hopper who plays a money-lending redneck racist who believes he's above the law and can get away with murder. Powerful, little-known 90's film, that went under the radar. Well worth a look. ~GenXGirl
