Let's Say
Aroview: A sweetly humble documentary in the vein of ETRE ET AVOIR, involving a group of French kids aged 8-13 asked to portray their parents’ jobs and reveal their perceptions of different careers, with telling results.
Though the various role-playing scenarios are all improvised, the odd participant decides it’d be more appropriate to act up for the camera, which, while amusingly cute, doesn’t work nearly as effectively as the kids who take the exercises dead seriously. As charming as one would expect, with a refreshingly unexpected and forthright window into the adult world and the diversity of French culture.
