“Blessed with no narration, an absence of gimmickry and an embracing love for its subject matter... as sweet, joyful and filled with curiosity as a you-know-what.”~Tom Long, Detriot News
Aroview: The first year ahead of four newly born infants from different parts of the world (Namibia, Mongolia, Japan and California) forms the irresistible core of this documentary on the beginnings of human life.
Unencumbered by language, this multi-portrait is one of pure physical and physiological expression, which provides an endless catalogue of 'moments' as the children interact with the world around them. The result is intrinsically 'life-affirming' as it reveals not just the everyday miraculousness of discovery, but how we as humans are defined less by our obvious differences that the things we all have in common.
