Swing Vote
Aroview: Undemanding political comedy based around the idea of a dropkick father whose polling booth blunder means he holds the 'swing vote' that will decide the American Election.
Costner's down and out loser is both dumbly likeable and irritatingly indifferent, and although this brings out the film's most hilarious moments from the desperate Presidential Candidates (Grammer and Hopper), their stereotypes as weak and cowardly leaders make this a 'political satire' in the broadest sense, leaving us with something more feel-good than farcical.
