88 Minutes
Aroview: Humdrum, race-against-the-clock thriller stars ol’ owl-eyes as a professor whose recent testimony against a convicted criminal has brought about some unwanted, life-threatening attention.
Following a creepy phone call and a deadline of 88 minutes to live, Pacino must use his guile and forensic nous to track down the source of the threat, but not before negotiating several foreseeable plot twists. John Avent directs with flawed and feeble style, while a jaded Pacino has been-there-done-that written across his forehead. Predicable, but passable when compared to the pair’s next outing, RIGHTOUS KILL.
