Sparkle

Aroview: Easy-going Brit comedy about a ruthless young go-getter (Evans) whose career in public relations is turned upside down when the girl of his dreams gets in the way of an affair with his older boss (Channing).

The film’s GRADUATE-styled love triangle bounces off a more down-to-earth romantic subplot between a karaoke queen and lovelorn landlord (Manville and Hoskins respectively). Neither of which truly sparkle, but produce enough bright moments and satisfying unions to complement the directors’ previous effort, LAWLESS HEART.
