Special
Aroview: Michael Rappaport plays a lonely parking warden who enrolls in a program for an experimental anti-depressant that has the unusual side effect of convincing him he's developing super-heroic powers.
Technically adept American indie film with a cast of professionals adding further lustre, though this downbeat, faintly humorous tale of paranoia, isolation, drug dependence and corporate exploitation never steps outside familiar parameters. A respectable debut feature, however, for both of its writer-directors.
