This familiar tale of badge'n'gun-wielding New York Irish fraternal disorder languished in New Line Studio's vault for some time and is rescued from total cliché by some creative close-quarters shooting and intensity of temper from leads Ed Norton, Colin Farrell, and Jon Voight.

2 stars (Good Try) Macho characters and macho script but even with Voight and Farrell on board it fails to hold the attention. ~Tubbs
