Machine Girl, The
Aroview: Brainless ultra-violence combines straighforward revenge narrative with a novelty twist: a plucky schoolgirl, whose stand against local gangsters backfires in the loss of her arm, fashions a machine gun prostetic and other instruments of death onto her bloody stump.
Laughably gory and low-budget to the hilt, this is far too crude to make an impression as a splatter classic (particularly when compared to the more ingenious PLANET TERROR, which boasts its own limb-less heroine), although is not without its own perverse and hideous charms. Best viewed in conjunction with the equally yucky TOKYO GORE POLICE.
