Little Dorrit (TV Mini-Series)
Aroview: Exemplary, all-star reworking of the Charles Dickens' classic in two parts. The first, "Nobody's Fault", is told from Arthur Clennam's (Derek Jacobi) point of view, while the second, "Little Dorrit's Story", is told from Amy Dorrit's, played by Sarah Pickering.
The superb ensemble playing is supported by dir. Edzard's Oscar-nominated screenplay and controlled direction, and gratifying to see a matured Alec Guinness return to Dickens after establishing himself in the 1940's with signature roles in David Lean’s GREAT EXPECTATIONS and OLIVER TWIST.
