Derives heavily from the established genre heavyweights, but with a refreshingly grounded premise that eschews the cartoonish aspects of those films in favour of taut scripting and brisk action sequences. Will reward those seeking an antidote to the mass pyrotechnics of X-MEN and suchlike.

2 stars (Good Try) All the characters have a special gift even if some of the gifts are a bit on the corny side. The action segments gradually over power the sci-fi. ideas. There are some good shots of Hong Kong streets. ~Tubbs
