Aroview: Beloved crime show gets a UK version capturing the both excitement and drudgery that made the US version such a success.
Initially the heavy cockney accents of the cast may strike the long time viewer as the only point of difference, but the show slowly but surely carves out its own identity with UK topical crimes coming to the fore, and a particularly strong final episode.

4 stars (Very Good) A solid British take on Dick Wolf's American version (Creator of L & O, L & O Criminal Intent and L & O Special Victims Unit). Great characters, but Bradley Walsh always steals the show, plodding away quietly in the background. ~Square Eyes
