Aroview: The original US police and courtroom drama from which various satellite shows and TV movies have sprouted, which contrasts its polish with fairly realistic, win-and-sometimes-lose storylines.

Detailing in two halves the day-to-day processes of the police and prosecutors, each show proffers interesting cases – some based on true stories – while Paul Sorvino and George Dzundza (among others) provide the acting chops that have kept the show running for over ten years.
