Aroview: Though far from original, this delightful Aussie road movie springs a few surprises in its sometimes-whimsical fable of truck mechanic whose dream of purchasing his very own big rig is scuppered by some dodgy loan sharks.

Though perhaps a little too cute at times for its own good, the film is quietly distinguished by dir. Caesar’s creative flair from the behind the camera, as well as the charms of NZ’s Emily Barclay out in front, here in cheerful support as the aspiring truckie’s romantic interest.
