Aroview: Admirable remake of the acerbic classic with Clunes in the role of salesman on the edge who as his life slowly crumbles starts to really speak his mind.

Though it can't compete with the Leonard Rossiter classic the travails of Perrin are still topical for many and Clunes is ideal in the lead role.
