Aroview: Peppy crime caper about a recent Nobel Prize winner whose son is kidnapped and ransomed for the $2 million prize money.

Directed with whiz, pop, and bang (but not much else), this Tarantino knockoff lacks an inventive script or a sense of originality, though may prove mildly diverting for its over-the-top characterizations (an OCD Danny Devito and Alan Rickman in the snooty academic role two entertaining examples).
