Princess and the Frog, The
Aroview: Winning animation for all ages invites the viewer to tag along with a hard working young waitress and a cocky prince as their paths cross after an evil magician transforms them into frogs.
Six decades after THE SONG OF THE SOUTH an African American protagonist finally takes to the Disney screen, and yet even if this wasn't such a landmark in itself this is still Disney's strongest outing in years. Returning to hand drawn animation this is also a throwback to the strong, unfussy plots of old and with the rich musical heritage of New Orleans being mined for the soundtrack this is a more than pleasurable viewing experience.
