Strip, The (TV Series)

Aroview: A highly strung corporate lawyer finds her life in disarray upon discovering her husband in bed with another man, so naturally she chucks in her job and opens a strip club!

This frisky local series was compared to ALLY MCBEAL when it screened due to it's fantasy sequences (that often resemble toffee-pop ads) and a comic female lead. Manages to rise above the obvious "arse-humour of its setting" with deft writing and an enthusiastic cast, but is still too cartoonish to have any real bite.
