King Corn
Aroview: Two friends embark on a corn-growing odyssey in this highly digestible expose of America's modern food system.
Less muckracking than other recent documentaries on nefarious food practices, college buddies Curt Ellis and Ian Cheney agreeably front the film as partners in a harvesting project, with the fruits of their labour revealing the extent in which the modest kernel fuels the fast food industry, as well as the ubiquity of corn in the food we consume.
