Get Him to the Greek
Aroview: The director and star of FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL reunite in this loosely connected follow-up about a record company intern who's hired to accompany an out-of-control British rock star to a concert at L.A.'s Greek Theater.
Baggy comedy suffers from having a one-note premise, and feels like a collection of scenes that rely on the bad-boy pop star schtick of shameless celeb-comic Russell Brand. Frankly, if you didn't warm to 'Sarah Marshall' then you can forget this.

2 stars (Good Try) Can't believe I'm saying this, but: if only they had the Farrelly Brothers' panache... Brand's character is such a douchebag you hope he overdoses. Mocking pop-culture feels awfully rich when you're so clearly, ecstatically, in it's vacuous thrall. ~fairbrother
2 stars (Good Try) Predictable, boring, could even be bothered watching the last half hour... ~Jack
