Aroview: This zesty Dreamworks animation is a wry take on superheroes, with the fiendish baddie Megamind finding himself at a loose end after dispatching do-gooder rival Metro Man.
Like THE INCREDIBLES, this is a deceptively routine family film which revels in subverting conventional genre tropes, principally by centering its narrative on the villian (voiced by Will Ferrell) rather than the hero (Brad Pitt). As a result, adults will lap up its underlying satirical smarts, while children will revel in its comic zing – a sort of KICK-ASS for all-ages.

4 stars (Very Good) A unique and genuinely hilarious animated film that Would almost rival pixar, if it wasn't for the awful final scene. The dance sequence, set to 'bad,' undermines the emotion created in the rest of the film. ~dr.strangelove
