Aroview: In this remarkably unique and poetic documentary, a performance of each season of Vivaldi’s masterpiece is delegated to four prodigious violinists from four corners of the globe –Japan (Spring), Australia (Summer) New York (Autumn), and Finland (Winter). The diverse lives of the four maestros are examined with reference to their thoughtful musical interpretations of the season that best reflects the culture they belong to.
More than providing a majestic soundtrack, the piece invites a sensory exploration into the way seasonal variations in weather and climate provide meaning to individuals and cultures.

0 star (Not rated) A few year's ago I gave a copy to my son's (for piano) mentor for Christmas, and after watching it she said that it should be recommended viewing in our education curriculum for music, and for all school & college students. Great viewing for all ag ~Anon
