Aroview: Bubbly satire has 60-something Catherine Deneuve transform from trophy wife to a strong-headed businesswoman after her chauvinist husband becomes incapacitated during an industrial dispute.

A retro-fitted, kitschy throwback to the heyday of the women's liberation movement, this plays heavily off the iconic pairing of its universally adored stars and fizzes in all the expected places. Like so many of its ilk though, it's perhaps richer in premise than in practice, with the script content to rest on its laurels in the third act.
