Transformers - Dark of the Moon
Feat. Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, John Malkovich, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Tyrese Gibson, Patrick Dempsey, Frances McDormand, Ken Jeong, Alan Tudyk, Kevin Dunn
Aroview: The brashest of blockbuster franchises rolls on seemingly eternally, but this one's at least an improvement of the execrable REVENGE OF THE FALLEN. This time LaBeouf and his Autobot buddies are racing the Decepticons to the moon, while Earth is once again under threat.
Toning down the sexism and racism makes this somewhat more tolerable, but its damnably longer than it needs to be and the robot carnage quickly becomes monotonous. There's plenty of CAPRICORN ONE moon landing paranoia to pep up the plot however, and oddball cameos from Buzz Aldrin and Bill O'Reilly (!) appearing as themselves.
