Aroview: Vincent Gallo plays a terrified Taliban fighter on the run from American forces in this oddly compelling chase movie, distinctive for its relentless art-house stylings and almost wordless suspense narrative.

Gallo, in particular, is a lot of fun to watch here in a purely physical role, while outre Polish dir. Jerzy Skolimowski (THE SHOUT) shapes the unforgiving landscape and elements with a robustness that's equally physical, if not primeval in texture. Not your typical action vehicle by any stretch of the imagination, but then that's part of its weird, enigmatic charm.
