Aroview: Produced by MTV, this gritty stateside remake of the hit Brit series translates the angst and attitude of the modern teen experience for US audiences with relative success.

Far less glossy than you might expect, and certainly in keeping with the foul-mouthed, promiscuous spirit of the original series, it proves most interesting as a rare instance of envelope pushing in the mainstream American television market - though fans of its British counterpart will more likely scoff at the attempt.
