“a welcome soupçon of silliness”~Louise Keller, Urban Cinefile
Aroview: The man-child comedy reaches its apotheosis with Seth MacFarlane's unsurprisingly vulgar film debut. Mark Wahlberg plays opposite his teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish and has been by his side ever since, but their friendship is put the test by Wahlberg's fledgling romance.
Naturally much of the humour is derived from stuffed animal set-pieces involving bongs, coarse sexual gestures and obscenity, and some may find a little of this goes a long way - particularly over 100 minutes. However, MacFarlane fans who've wished that he escape the censorious confines of network television and really let loose should be satisfied.

3 stars (Good Enough) Not nearly as funny as I hoped from MacFarlane and Wahlberg, but still has its moments. This is one teddy bear you don't want your kids to see. ~Tom H
1 star (Turkey) Crudeness and the limited use of the English language indicates a desperation by the writer to get a laugh. ~Tubbs
