Aroview: The most fully-realized and funniest creation yet from the SOUTH PARK boys, who hit the bullseye (and a raw nerve or two) by brilliantly staging a violent action thriller with Thunderbird-style marionette puppets and hilarious songs.
Elevates the concept to another level by taking post-9/11 world politics into its satirical aim, where it unapologetically shoots down the gung-ho right, the liberal left, the terrorist enemy, and most shockingly, a host of politically-conscious Hollywood celebrities. Breaking down all bad taste barriers while illustrating a serious point, this willfully obnoxious stunt comes off as as valid and important as any earnest documentary, thanks to the bloody genius of dir. Parker and his sidekick Stone.

3 stars (Good Enough) There are few lines the South Park creators will not cross, as shown here in their musical-action-comedy satire of American culture, Hollywood, terrorism, AIDs and politics. Great miniature-puppetwork is a stunning contrast to the devilish subject matter. ~Tom H

2 stars (Good Try) Why go to all the trouble and expense of making puppets and then spoil the film with some distasteful and unnecessary content. ~Tubbs
