Dredd
Aroview: This ultra-violent reboot of the 2000 AD comic book hero plays ups its B-movie stature to deliver a lean, mean policier less concerned with procedure than it is the bloody spectacle of post-apocalyptic law enforcement.
New Zealand's Karl Urban is all chin and stubble as the helmeted "judge, jury and executioner", however it is a refreshing female dimension (in both sidekick and arch nemesis) that gives the film's otherwise single-minded, monosyllabic approach to justice a much needed kick in the pants.

4 stars (Very Good) Karl Urban is perfect as Judge Dredd. The film may not be deep, but it's incredibly stylish and one of 2012s most enjoyable blockbusters. Well worth watching. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) I missed the reason for the bicycle helmets. Some good props and design work but the slow motion shots irritate. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) ~Wyatt Earp
