Robot and Frank
Aroview: Sentimental futurism finds aging Frank Langella search for companionship and purpose in (late) life in the robot servant purchased for him by his well-meaning son; a robot which also, curiously, is willing to assist in its owner's penchant for burglary.
Less heist movie than old-age character study, this relies heavily on the stately Langella to keep the script's schmaltzy tendencies at bay.
