Aroview: Middle-aged badass Liam Neeson returns in this enjoyable, if perfunctory sequel to the bloody-minded kidnapping hit, in which his family is once again abducted by a faceless Eastern European syndicate.

For sure, there's more face smashing and car chasing, and a more significant role to play for his female co-stars, but other than that, a familiar case of rapidly diminishing returns.
