4 stars (Very Good) A very creepy tale by horror-master Clive Barker (along with racial and sexual undertones), I dare you to watch this one alone and then stand in front of a mirror, let alone begin to chant: Candyman, Candyman... ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Works as a literal urban spook flick or as a metaphorical riff on white privilege (and the great American taboo of miscegenation). There maybe imperfections but overall it's a classy, thoughtful, and truly frightening genre gem. ~fairbrother
