“The best American comedy of the year.”~Twitch
Aroview: Irrepressible writer/director Bobcat Goldthwait returns with another sizzling, charcoal-black comedy that takes aim at the worst proponents of tasteless pop culture in the American mainstream.
Finding himself out of a job, out of a marriage and with a terminal illness, middle-aged schlub Joel Murray (Bill's amiable brother) decides to rid society of its most repellent citizens before finding an unlikely accomplice in a 16-year-old girl. Features some brilliantly indignant rants (reminiscent of the late Bill Hicks) this might dance on the spot during its middle stretch but it recovers for a glorious, cathartic showdown on a clueless live talent show. If you like your comedy twisted and smart, then be sure to check out Goldthwaite's back catalogue as well.

5 stars (Exceptional) Excellent black comedy on Trump's Amerika. Great travesty of rubbishy US & radio "shows" thrown in for good measure. Extremely entertaining; the girl Roxy (Tara Barr) is a delight! Seriously fun movie! Good on "marriage", too. ~Sandy
4 stars (Very Good) A little too didactic, but funny and unafraid to go wildly over the top into taboo territory. Would make a great double feature with James Gunn's Super. ~Pearce
3 stars (Good Enough) For the most part, it was well written but it eventually backed itself into a corner and finished weakly. ~Tubbs
