Banshee (TV Series)
Aroview: Kiwi Antony Starr plays the charismatic rogue at the centre of this luridly entertaining crime series, about an ex-con who poses as the murdered sheriff of a small Pennsylvania town in Amish country.
Exploring both amorality and redemption, the series curates a juicy sense of heightened reality that viewers of the likes of SPARTACUS and STRIKE BACK (both also produced by Cinemax) will be familiar with - that is to say, drama amidst plenty of sex and violence.
Season One: 10 episodes across four discs.
Season Two: 10 episodes across four discs.
Season Three: 10 episodes across four discs.
Season Four: 8 episodes across three discs.

2 stars (Good Try) Came to rely more and more on the bedroom scenes. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) This show ticks all the boxes I want in a TV series: every episode is full of suspense, sex, strong female characters and entertaining plots. Antony Starr is a Kiwi? I had no idea. His American accent totally works. ~LouLou
