2 stars (Good Try) The lead performance of Golshifteh Farahani is fine but the screenplay is disappointing and the script pretty ordinary at times. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) Partly filmed in Herat; beautiful & desperately moving. Shows how women carry the weight of futile wars. Explicitly sexual. Powerful story, unexpected ending, brilliant acting by Farahani. Nothing else quite like it. ~Sandy
