4 stars (Very Good) Based in the days of corduroys & duffel coats & a little thing called the BOMB. Elle Fanning is outstanding. The supporting cast is quality. The family bust-up scene is well written, correctly played out & avoids the traps. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) Unusual but realistic. An economical drama about growing up in the 60s. A different age & engaged teenagers. Intense. Possibly somewhat autobiographical. Fantastic electricity between the girls. All acting outstanding, hence a flop in the USA. Great! ~Sandy
