Bad Behaviour
“Wildly ambitious, often incandescently smart and proudly self-indulgent.”~Graeme Tuckett, Stuff
Aroview: Jennifer Connelly gives a committed performance as a former child actor who seeks enlightenment at a retreat in Oregon while navigating a complicated, turbulent relationship with her stunt-performer daughter who is on location in New Zealand.
This writer-directing debut of Alice Englert, who also stars, is a defiantly off-beat comedy-drama that, for all its distractions, focuses on a fractious love between a mother and daughter, intriguingly informed by her own relationship with real-life mother and film-maker Jane Campion.
