Chef
Synopsis: An acclaimed chef whose reputation is ruined by a restaurant critic reclaims his creative instinct and love of life by opening a humble food truck.
“Buoyed by a Latin-flavored score and Favreau's knack for improv inspiration, 'Chef' is the perfect antidote to Hollywood junk food. Like the best meals and movies, this irresistible concoction feels good for the soul.”~Rolling Stone

4 stars (Very Good) Sentimental, somewhat creaky, framework fleshed out with such exuberance and humour that you'll be having too good a time to notice. In a reversal of the usual state of affairs, the French are planning a remake (just kidding). ~HiFi
2 stars (Good Try) Not just another cooking film but one with a kid in it. ~Tubbs
