“This ingeniously executed study in cinematic minimalism has depth, beauty and poise.”~Variety
Aroview: Tom Hardy plays a family man plunged into crisis and armed only with his mobile telephone in this brilliant, one-man chamber piece set entirely inside a moving car.
An acting tour-de-force for Hardy and also writer-director Steven Knight, who pulls off an ambitious high-wire act of sustaining tension (and pay-off) through purely psychological means, suspended on an entirely original premise. Those expecting usual genre conventions will find no such satisfaction, but its cutting edge of creativity will excite and reward those willing to pay attention, as the recognizable trials and tribulations of modern life take uncharted dramatic form.

5 stars (Exceptional) One man. A telephone. A car. 90 minutes. A life unravels in real time. Could have been done as a one man stage show but works so much better as a movie. A tour de force. ~Anon
2 stars (Good Try) Visual images do not make a film, especially since these are repeated interminably. I did not even find the story credible. The only thing that I can say in favour of this film is that I did not switch it off but looked at it until the end. ~Anon
5 stars (Exceptional) Hard to believe a one man show can keep you watching? Tom Hardy is up to the task. ~bikewrench
5 stars (Exceptional) This film is a triumph. This one man road trip had me on the edge of my passenger seat, glued to the windscreen and willing the driver on to a happy ending? So worth the journey. ~Watching Brief
3 stars (Good Enough) The script is well written and the film well edited as it is able to hold interest over its distance. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Simple but complex. I was watching intently right to the end. ~Catapillar
4 stars (Very Good) It won't be for everyone, but if you can be enraptured by a great performance alone this film is worth a watch ~Anon
