Wyatt Earp
Aroview: Lovingly crafted rendition of an oft-told legend is the first major flop in the careers of Costner and the director. Not a bad film, but the treatment was perhaps better suited as a mini-series rather than as a butt-bruising big-screen epic.

2 stars (Good Try) Hackman hardly appears. One very good early scene pre-Costner is of a street shoot out between two drunks. Photography and props very good but at the end of the (long) day you don't really care about any of the characters. ~Tubbs
