2 stars (Good Try) Beguiling premise, with some funny lines, beautiful photography and a great cast, but it never comes to life. All dressed up with nowhere to go, drowning in verbiage and crucially lacking in charm. ~HiFi

2 stars (Good Try) Its the type of film that the British excel in. This one is well mounted but not that interesting. Eileen Atkins is the acting highlight (again). ~Tubbs
