“A gripping dramatic thriller about the winners and losers in America's game of mortgage roulette.”~Rafer Guzman, Newsday
Aroview: Andrew Garfield turns in a muscular performance as a recently unemployed single father who struggles to regain his family home by working for the ruthless real estate broker (Shannon, also superb) who carried out the forclosure.
A tightly-constructed, suspenseful drama that resonates as a searing commentary on American capitalism amid economic recession.

2 stars (Good Try) It's worth watching for the performance of Michael Shannon as unfortunately the talented Laura Dern is under used. The screenplay is a worthy idea but it is all a bit too neat and tidy to be totally convincing. Part of the NZFF 2015. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Horrific doco-drama on the realities of the property crisis for many American families. Hateful at first glance, but the gripping story soon cuts in. Trashy style absolutely convincing. Excellent film with interesting extras. Not for the faint-hearted! ~Sandy
