Aroview: Something of a coup d'etat for its first time feature writer-director, this is a staggeringly assured drama that details white-collar panic over a gruelling 24-hours during the early stages of the 2008 financial crisis.

Not based on any specific real-life event or company, and therefore to follow its nose for dramatic impact, the script nails an (imagined) authenticity with characters tested at every turn and fleshed out well beyond their usual stereotype. Structured around a series of increasingly weighted boardroom meetings, the entire ensemble cast devour the juicy script and are a pleasure to watch. A highly original and memorable work that ranks alongside business-world classics like GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS.
