10 Cloverfield Lane
“A master class on narrative pacing and carefully managed jolts.”~Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times
Aroview: Set in the CLOVERFIELD universe, but not an official sequel, Mary Elizabeth Winstead wakes up to find herself trapped in an underground bunker with two men claiming the outside world has been subject to a chemical attack.
Fans of John Goodman will enjoy second-guessing him as an eccentric who may-or-may-not-be-a-psychopath before the film spins into something completely different, qualifying it as an exponent of the post-modern genre known as the "chimera" movie. Produced by J.J. Abrams.

2 stars (Good Try) Keeps you guessing, but there are only two guesses. And then the ending: discuss. Resourceful female character crawling through ducting: Ridley Scott should sue. Fairly underwhelming , despite Goodman's presence. ~HiFi
2 stars (Good Try) An odd film that has good reviews elsewhere for its screenplay and performances - it didn't work for me first time round but John Goodman is no slouch when selecting his parts. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) It's kinda fantastic? ~Sevenhead
