2 stars (Good Try) Jennifer Connelly in "That's not fair!" mode; the film is stranded in the straits between "Requiem for a Dream" and "House of Sand and Fog" - doesn't quite land on a shore but means to more than a boat full of puppets. ~Reese Witherfork

3 stars (Good Enough) I've never seen Jennifer Connelly in a better performance (its gritty) and the love relationship, even with running noses, has an air of authenticity about it. ~Tubbs
