Aroview: A gracious tribute to the post-war generation of New Zealand women, Gaylene Preston does a job worthy of her forebears in charting the early years of social campaigner, Sonya Davies. Genevieve Picot won the 1994 NZ Film Award for Best Actress.
4 stars (Very Good) The moving true story of NZ politician Sonja Davies early life, a young independent socialist embarking on a career in nursing during World War II. Terrific performance, and a lovely tribute.~GenXGirl
0 star (Not rated) I look for NZ movies to buy, mostly to send overseas as gifts. I ordered this and watched it . It is captivating and beautifully produced. There are so many issues raised, all based on an autobiography. I will send one and order another to keep.~ETC
