2 stars (Good Try) It is more of a film in which you can admire its special effects. For a King Kong film the 1933 version is hard to beat. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Nimbly side-stepping the racism and colonialist garbage of most earlier Kong movies, this combines top-notch kaiju action with a great cast and a tinge of anti-war commentary. ~Pearce
